Inter-Tribal Ceremonial Restropective Exhibit

The Gallup Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonial is a yearly celebration in Gallup, New  Mexico, which features the powwow, parades, rodeos and much more.

The Ceremonial began in 1921 as a coming together of Native Americans for the purpose of sharing their culture and to reunite with friends and family.  Now more than 50 tribes from the United States, Canada and Mexico participate every August.

In November 2013 to celebrate Native American Heritage Month, the Octavia Fellin Public Library exhibited many of the past Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonial posters throughout the library.
